Have we bred a world of spoiled morons?

Everyone I come across seems to be a tweeting, consumerist, self loving idiots with BA's in Media Studies. Everyone I know bangs on about how important it is to recycle (yahh) but they don't think twice about shoving an 8ball of coke in to their vacuous head. They talk about poverty while sipping on Pinot Grigio in their Chinos, but nobody actually thinks about anything. Nobody seems to have actual skills anymore, they sit in front of a computer for 8hours and develop back problems. Am I just a crotchety ***** at the grand age of 29, or has everyone turned into a moron?
